It certainly was an interesting evening and everyone at the Spoilers table enjoyed themselves. (me especially with an award in my hand !) Adored the dancers, they were great but all the boys were disappointed there were no female dancers. I did notice tho
that there were plenty of swivel heads following some of the gorgeous women
around the place

The Boardroom of Melbourne
Wow what a great year it’s been! We didn’t know how to top off the year until last Wednesday night the 26th of November, when we won the award for the Best Overall Brothel in Australia. That makes three (3) years in a row!
It was a Gala night, held at the Hyatt hotel in Melbourne that the adult industry gathered to celebrate the third annual industry awards. It was attended by the who’s who of the industry and many more were said to party on until the next day.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our friends and patrons for their votes, loyalty and continued support. You have made it possible for us to win this award three (3) years running, the first in 2001, then 2002 and now. We are so proud to be the first and only brothel to have achieved this. Everybody on the Boardroom Team is ecstatic at the win.

It wasn't quite the Logies but it was more interesting than the AFI's - that is the best way to describe the Australian Adult Industry Awards on Wednesday night. The talking point of the evening was the silver plated elongated table decorations. Despite the best efforts by organisers, not one of the objects remained by the end of the night, having been tucked into handbags or hidden under jackets. At least they made a change from the usual potted plants or polystyrene carton figures often seen at gala dinners.

Why not break that old unwritten law by mixing business with pleasure and celebrating the 2002 Adult Industry Awards? On hand will be a veritable showcase of participating industries from brothels and escort agencies to Phone sex operators.
The AAI awards began last year when many of Australia’s most valuable business received some well-needed recognition in establishing legitimacy for the sex industry and its participants.
Winners of the awards will be able to display their winning logo as a badge of honour, such an award is soon to become a much sought after price for every adult orientated business in Australia.
Keep an eye out for the awards logo being proudly displayed by last year’s award winning business, such as the Boardroom of Melbourne for Best Provincial Brothel, Club X and Sexy Land for its best Adult Retail and last but not least Palace Playmates as one of the Top 10 Best Brothels.
This year will be presenting nominees from a listing of categories such as Best Gentleman’s Club to Best Adult Web Site.
The Australian Adult Industry Awards night for 2002 will be held on November 20 the day before Melbourne Sexpo.
Join and celebrate the nights events will well know celebrity comedian’s exotic performers and much more.
To the "Australian Adult Industry Awards"
Congratulations on your first Awards Presentation. In the past there was much talk within the industry to have such awards, but you guys actually made it happen, and for that you deserve full marks.
Hats off to you guys. You put the concept and ideas in place, spent the time and the effort, and pulled it off.
As they say the second time is always better then the first, but at least there was a first time.
We look forward to the next Awards Presentation and once again, congratulate you.
Well done.
